Rowdy is a bull calf sired by Ohno and out of our JCT-012 cow. He is non-chondro (chondro-) and dun. His color, chondro status, and parentage to Ohno are confirmed by UC Davis.

• Sire: Rocking L Ranch Ohno – Dun (appears white to the eyes), chondro+ bull, 34.5" at the topline.

• Dam: JCT-012 – Yellow wild type, measuring 42.5" at the topline, small-framed & fully mature.

• Born on November 10th, 2024, Rowdy is weaned and currently being socialized and started on the halter. He is ready to go to his new home.

Harry is a wild-type (appears red) and confirmed brindle bull calf sired by Ohno and out of our JCT-002 cow. He has been confirmed non-chondro (chondro-) and wild-type color by UC Davis.

• Dam: Nubby (JCT-002) – dun, measuring less than 43" at the topline, small-framed and fully matured measurement. Her 3yr old measurement was around 40". We also have one of her daughters, Sandy (JCT-010) that we have retained because of her wonderful genetics.

• Born on January 19th, 2025, Hairy is weaned and currently being socialized and started on the halter. He is ready to go to his new home.

Bunny is a heifer embryo calf sired by Ohno and the donor dam is our Nubby (JCT-002) cow. She has been confirmed chondro positive, Dun and carrier of wild-type color by UC Davis.

• Donor Dam:  Nubby (JCT-002) – dun, measuring less than 43" at the topline, small-framed and fully matured measurement. Her 3yr old measurement was around 40". We also have one of her daughters, Sandy (JCT-010) that we have retained because of her wonderful genetics. 

• Born on April Fools Day, April 1st, 2025, Bunny self-weaned from her surrogate dam and is striving on plenty of feed, grass, hay, and water. We are starting her on the halter and socializing her daily.

Cookie Monster is an embryo bull calf (now been steered) sired by Ohno and donor dam JCT-Peanut. He has been confirmed to be naturally polled (hornless), non-chondro (chondro-), and red with wild type color by UC Davis.

• Donor Dam: JCT-Peanut – HighPark/Galloway cross, appears like a hairy red Galloway, petite framed 45/46" topline. 

• Born on March 7th, 2025, Cookie Monster is weaned and currently being socialized. He is ready to go to his new home.
